Frank Schroth

Frank was warm, generous and loving…unconditionally. He lived everyday to the fullest and was loved by all. My years with Frank were wonderful ones and the memories of them will live forever in my heart. He will not only be missed by me but by our family, friends and the rest of the lives he touched. Helping the next man was inborn to him. His selflessness was not printed on the front page of the newspaper but he will always be remember that way. His thick and thin support of others and their situation, his genuineness and honesty should be admired and followed by all.

Frank enjoyed the outdoors, our walks in the park, family picnics, pool parties, camping and family vacations. His greatest joy was his granddaughter Chelsea who lived with us. Whenever we took Chelsea out I felt like I had 2 children. The crazy and wild rides they went on, the games they would play to win prizes, and their love of the water. He loved hanging out with her as much as she loved hanging out with him. We very rarely went anywhere without her. Chelsea was your priority and you always made sure she had everything. You spoiled her rotten but she was "your little girl " as you would call her. Our granddaughter Chloe was born in February 2010 one week after Frank's birthday.

He was so excited at being a pop-pop again. He couldn't wait to see her and spend time taking care of her everyday.

In Nov. 2009 the local newspaper ran an article about Frank being a local hero for fearlessly saving a woman from a burning car and the commendations he received . In Nov. 2010 the same newspaper ran an article about the local hero who died and continued to save lives by donating his organs.
