William Ryan Brossman

William Ryan Brossman (March 24, 1989 to December 23, 2010)

His first name was William after his uncle, but he looked like a Ryan so the middle name stuck. It matched his personality. Ryan was a 21 year old young man who was very kind and who loved kids especially his nephew Colton. He also loved cars and trucks, demolition and girls. The youngest of 3 (all boys), he was a light in our lives, and his life was taken too soon. He is missed tremendously. As his 2 older brothers have gone on to have children, I can’t help but wonder what Ryan’s kids would be like. Handsome or beautiful as he is, I’m sure! He passed away 4 years ago, but not a day goes by that he is not remembered. A million times by me 🙂 Even though he had no children of his own, he gave life to 3 people through the Gift of Life. I feel that he would be happy about that. At the time that we made the decision for Ryan to be an organ donor, it was so very difficult because we couldn’t ask him if it was ok. While going through the process, there were times that we wanted to just quit. But through encouragement from family members and many prayers, we were able to move forward. Anymore, I don’t think of the hospital and how difficult it was… I just hold the memory of Ryan in the deepest part of my heart knowing that he’s resting peacefully in the Lord’s peace where I’ll see him again someday.
