Robert A. Homen was a devoted husband, loving dad and grandpa, and an admirable son, brother, uncle, and friend. He served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War and went on to devote the rest of his 30+ years of service to the Army National Guard.
On October 25, 2010 our livs were forever changed. Rob passed away suddenly and unexpectedly doing what he loved. While out for his daily job, he suffered a massive heart attack. As we struggled to comprehend what had happened, we were approached by a nurse who asked if we would consider organ donation.
Still reeling in our own grief, we knew that if given the opportunity to help someone, that's what Rob would want. There is comfort in knowing that he lives on in others, and his passing was not in vain. Rob gave a priceless gift….The Gift of Life.
