To honor our beloved son, we chose to make his quilt square from a piece of a quilt that was given to him when he was born. We included some of the things he loved, animals, especially his dogs, including his Husky, Dyna, and his German shepherd, Pup-Pup, his proud membership in the Sons of American Legion, his favorite sports team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and his love of nature and the outdoors. Eric loved his family and friends, especially his son, Blake, his brother Artie, and his best friend, Tom. He was an avid hunter, a gifted artist, an incredible story-teller, and had a knack for making people dissolve in laughter. We cherish our memories of him, and will always be proud that he made the decision to be an organ donor, knowing that his gifts have helped others live better and longer lives.
