Donald Fetzer

"Fetz"

May 6, 1936-December 30, 2010

Dad, pap, poppy, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, son, cousin, uncle, friend, such simple names for such an extraordinary person.

His faith gave strength and absolute devotion to his family (he read the bible cover to cover twice)

He now is in heaven with his baby son, cherished mother, family and friends that went before him and were waiting. They are so lucky!

The most important lesson he ever taught his family is that "Love Doesn't Run."

Never one to judge or speak harsh words.

Always knowing the right words and gestures to say and use during the good and bad times.

Oh, he was stubborn (a Fetzer trait that was passed onto his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren).

If you were lucky to be a recipient of his love (human or animal), it was for a lifetime and beyond.

Always the first person to lend a helping hand.

Forever we will have a large empty space in our lives and hearts. We miss him more with each passing day.

We didn't want to let him go, but God need his warmth, strength, love, and humanity in heaven.

We will never be the same, but we are who we are because he was our father and our guide.

May the donation of his eyes bring the gift of sight; just as he was a gift to us.

Forever a simple man…

Forever an extraordinary man…

Forever our hero…

On earth and in heaven…
