Our tribute patch expresses his love and fondness of music. Matt loved to listen to and collect albums from classic rock of the 60’s & 70,s amassing an album collection of over 1200 albums. His quilt patch shows his 4 favorite bands behind his picture, which are early original Genesis, Peter Gabriel, David Bowie and Pink Floyd
During his life we always traveled to various destinations like the 4 Musketeers. Mark (his Brother) and Matt where very close not just as brothers but as friends. Matt loved his dogs which he had many of them growing up, as we put Butch and Snoop with him eternally. He is now with Grandma & Grandpop.
Matt found his true love Rachel as his wedding day was the happiest day of his life, which is the picture on the quilt. His daughter Mattison was born on 9-19-11, which was 4 months after he passed. What a diamond he has given us.
Matt had many friends who still miss him today; many still tells us they still feel empty without him. His father, and 5 of his closest friends Jim, Brain, Matt, Rick & Mike formed a band in his honor called Purple Velour, as his friends always said Matt always wears a Purple Velour jumpsuit. Which he did.
Mother truly loves you and will always miss your hugs and kisses, you were my youngest son, I will miss our talks together and you voice always calling me Mother. I love you Son.
Dad will always miss our time together listening to music and telling stories about the bands and albums, our album hunting excursion together, and our times down to Tony’s house on our trips to A.C. I would like you to ask me one more question. I miss you.
