Sean Smalley

Sean Steven Smalley, born on April 29, 1992, was an 18 year old mechanically inclined motor sports enthusiast. Starting from a young age, Sean and his only sister always enjoyed riding their quads up the mountains. Sean’s true love for motor sports reflected in his enrolling at Bucks County Technical High School in Pennsylvania, where he was described by his teacher as one of the best mechanics he has ever had. That same year, he was awarded two scholarships which included numerous amounts of tools that he would have needed for the future. Sean had a wonderful sense of humor that when he applied for his drivers permit and checked the organ donation box, he said to his mother, “I hope they won’t take my heart if I break my leg.” Sean would have been happy to know that he has helped other families by choosing to be an organ donor. Tragically, Sean’s life was cut short on August 14, 2010 where he was a passenger at the hands of a careless driver. This tragedy has severely damaged the mental health of our family. Please encourage any person to be an organ donor as it can save families or even the life of your own. Rest In Peace Sean Steven Smalley.
