The Gift of Love is Forever
The service of kindness if a gift of love. “Treat others the way you want to be treated” infers that we love ourselves and are capable of loving others. Love allows us to treat others with that degree of thoughtfulness and having love for all people is the quality of being human. Love is life’s greatest gift. It is a service to mankind to give and it is beautiful when received.
My understanding is better now because of my son Wayne. He lived his life being kind through actions and deeds. Kindness was his religion and being spiritual, he believed that the soul lives on because love never dies.
I believe that Wayne’s soul does live on. I know that his eyes and heart live on as well. Wayne’s last gift to humanity was as an organ and tissue donor. Love is the gift that keeps on giving and his gift is still helping two people see a better world. Wayne’s heart is still beating in the body of a father who, along with his family and two young children, will be forever grateful to a young man they never met.
Wayne’s service of kindness and love continue to transform and inspire.
The gift of love is for sharing. I was blessed to be loved and witness greatness, thanks to my son. He had “A heart that was full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
