William Jamack

Billy’s favorite saying regarding family was “we put the FUN in dysfunctional” – and so he did! He was a horrid little boy that grew up to be a great little (big) brother, uncle and father. He was always giving and doing for family and friends, and always including family on his vacation. Rooms were on him so we got to some pretty great places – Cancun, Aruba and Puerto Vallarta! Hawaii was next, but alas, not to be…

The Flyers could count on him, as being their #1 fan and see him at many games since he had season tickets (in the nose bleed section), last row of bleachers at the top of the stadium. He had many friends there and is missed so much by all that knew and loved him!

As a psychiatrist, Dr. Bill did try to advise us in his own way by helping us to see the other side – weighing them – but the conclusion of decision had to be ours. He did get us to really think though.

Donating organs was important to him – so important that he pushed all family members to be donors also. It’s good to know that he lives on in others. Our great loss, their good fortune. He had a very big heart and gave so much to family and friends; so it is good that his heart lives on in someone else.

Carpe Diem – seize the day – was always his favorite saying from his college days, so he was surprised to find a tile on the wall of the power room at his oldest sisters house and was nearly freaked out every time he was leaving to make sure he hadn’t lift it, hence the idea for the quilt square. Billy lived life to the fullest and really did try to seize each day!
