Kyle D. Downin

Kyle “Cowboy” was a person so full of life, energy and love. He loved his family, pets and friends. He enjoyed playing soccer, working on cars, woodworking and spending countless hours with friends.

This quilt patch represents the things that were important in Kyle’s life. The names around the square are the names of his mom, stepdad, dad, sisters, brothers, brother-in-laws, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and girlfriend who love and miss him so much every day. The white material is from a t-shirt that Kyle wore to work. Orange was chosen for the outside border because it was his favorite color. The soccer ball is for the love he had for the sport. Butterflies were added to show the love and joy Kyle gave to all. The heart with wings tells everyone that he is our guardian angel and he watches over us every day. The final thing is the heart with the rose inside that represents Kyle as the rose and he will forever be in our hearts.

When Kyle passed his driving test he signed up to be an organ donor and was so proud of that. We lost Kyle on September 17, 2011 but many others gained life through his donations. We are so thankful to have a son, brother, uncle and friend who thought of other people instead of himself.

Kyle, you are forever in our hearts. We love and miss you.

Love Always,

Mom, Jim, Dad, Kristen, Tierra & Joe, Trenda & Stephen, Brandon & Heather, Jeremy, Jaedon, Nick, Tara, Breea, Brody, Erin, Jake & Hoss
