Amber “Shorty” Yordy
1993-2012
There is so many ways one could describe Amber “Shorty” Yordy. Each of them would be different for Amber would help people in her many different ways. Shorty Yordy liked to play sports and joined the Girl Scouts. Amber was six years old, where she became a cute little Daisy. Throughout the years and the many crazy camping trips, she hung in there. Since she stayed in Girl Scouts for thirteen years, Amber was able to become a Lifetime Girl Scout member. Even today she is still a proud Scout. One of the proudest thing Amber need in Girl Scout was take a trip to England, France and then to Paris. When she got back from the trip you could tell that it opened her eyes more to the world. One day she wanted to go back with her family. Amber had an adventurous heart and spirit but also one of the kindest hearts too. Whenever someone needed advice or just a laugh all you had to do was call and text her and she would be there. One could always count on her since she would always be there. I know that one thing that Shorty was proud of was her family and her adorable nephews and nieces. Including her nephew Denver, she would always help me when I would need it. Amber would never admit it but she was a lot like her parents. Amber loved with her heart but always showed her caring side.
