The story of my square starts with the Vera Bradley fabric that it is made with. My mom wanted me to have Vera since it was one of her favorites.

The names written on it are just some of my loved ones that I left behind the day I unexpectedly left them to go to Heaven to be with the Lord.

The shamrock represents my love for my Irish heritage. Just one week before I passed away, I returned from a trip to Ireland that I took with my Mom, Dad, brother Kenny and my Grampy. I enjoyed some Guinness, visited many countries, and purchased some special things to put away for when I got married.

The flip flops you see here were my favorite footwear. I had many pairs in various styles and colors. I wore them everywhere!

The cocktail represents how I enjoyed a cocktail with friends or while reading or watching television. My fiancée Pat and I would like to sample different wines and enjoying wine pairing dinners.

The little paw print you see is very special to me. It represents my beloved puppy Lana. I adopted Lana from a shelter in Philadelphia. I was passionate about shelter animals and volunteered my time with PAWS in Philadelphia. Now, Pat and Lana take care of each other. I loved all animals and I am reunited in Heaven with my little Kramer and my Dino.

These are just some of the things that I will miss. I will also miss my morning chats with my Grammy while waiting for my train, laughing with my friends, planning vacations, singing, dancing, cooking and so much more.

In my life, I touched many people, I loved unconditionally and was loved so much in return. I’ll be waiting for the day when we can all be together again, reunited in Heaven.
