Our son, Kevin, died at the age of 45 in May 2013. His quilt square depicts some of the things he loved in life. He always liked dogs and had two labs…a chocolate lab named Chip and a yellow one named Max. He loved sports and watched golf matches, basketball and football games on TV. His favorite football teams were the Washington Redskins and the University of Alabama Crimson Tide team. He could tell you every stat regarding a football game. He played golf frequently and got a “hole-in-one” in April 2012 while playing a round with his father.
