Donald Lobach, Sr.

10-15-48 to 8-19-12

He was a gentle giant with a heart of gold. A good son, brother, husband, father, and Pop-Pop. A better friend you could not ask for. Not a day went by that he didn’t show you or tell you that he loved you. He loved to make people laugh. He should have been a comic. He could make having a prostate or colon test into a hilarious story. Everyone knew if he was around you would be laughing. Life was never dull if he was a part of your life. He always thought of others. If he would see a homeless person he would buy them a meal or give them a couple bucks. Once while eating breakfast out about eight military personal came in to eat. He paid their bills went over shook their hands and thanked them for their service to our country and with tears in eyes “It’s the least I can do.” So it’s fitting that on his last day on earth he gave “The Gift of Life.”
