Joan Keiser

Joan Keiser’s quilt piece represents all that was precious in her life. Starting with the quilt square made with fabric from her late husband Jims shirt. The hearts, bear and cupcake represent all her family who loved her dearly. The green shamrock represents her and organ donation.

Joan was a kind, loving, and caring person. She was always there when you needed her. She loved her husband to whom she was married to for 60 years. She loved her family who consists of; Children: Terry, James II (Linda), Cindy, Pam (Joe). Grandchildren: Stephanie (Ron), James III (Colleen), Craig (Dana), Kristi, Joseph II (Amanda), Rachael, Steven (Jennifer). Great Grandchildren: Anthony, Jaelyn, Aidan, Jordan, Emma, Brendan, Brooklyn, Brianna, Taylor. The little one always made her feel young. She spent her life caring for her daughter with Down Syndrome. Joan always put her family first. She always bragged about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joan was not an organ donor. We always joked about her parts being to worn out for anyone to use. Her untimely death allowed us to choose to make her a donor. We thought she would want to do this since she gave of herself her whole life. It was only right for her to continue after death, this way part of her can go on helping others.

Joan lives in our hearts always.

WE will Love you FOREVER!!!!!
