Shawn Joseph Dinsmore was born on January 18, 1972 and passed away on January 9, 2014. He was a very loving son towards me and his siblings. He had a long Love of his hobby being Coca Cola memorabilia, hence the quilted patch which he had on his bed until he passed. Shawn had just been out to Arizona, where my husband and I live, and had spent Xmas and New Years day and also, my birthday January 4th. He left on my birthday, and four days later we receive the call that our Shawn had a massive heart attack at 41 years old, and had passed away quickly. My life fell to pieces and still have many moments. When his brothers called from PA and suggested Gift of Life Donor Program, I immediately said YES, as it would have been what Shawn would have wanted us to do!!!!! We have been told that Shawn has helped many people and through Gift of Life Donor Program, I have been able to deal with his loss. We would have loved to be coming to the Donor Recognition Ceremony but cannot as we live in Arizona… Thank you for your program. Shawn, I’LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!!!!
