John Murling

John "Fuzzy" Murling

I make this square for my brother, John "Fuzzy" Murling. It is made from his favorite denim jacket. The picture is of him on his Harley, which he spent many hours to restore, and it was his pride and joy. After his death, our brother Jim had these patches made up and all of his friends wear them on their leathers. The button was a cuff snap from his jacket also. Fuzzy was the last born and the first to leave us, we miss him terribly. He chose a very rough road to travel while he was here but drove it with pride. He was very unconventional and always doing things his own way but he also was the first to help anyone that needed it. He was a big-hearted guy so it was not a surprise to find out that he was also a donor. We are very proud of him for this decision and it has made us realize the importance of being a donor. We have since joined him in this decision. Bye for now, Fuzzy. We miss you.
