My husband, John, of 33 years died suddenly at the young age of 54. John always wanted to give to other people. Whether it was at his job, at church or in his personal life. He gave back to others in so many ways. The moment they told me that he had passed away, I was asked if he was an organ donor. I had no doubt in my mind that the answer was yes. I knew that would be what John would want as his last gift back to others. A big influence on John becoming an organ donor was because a friend of his who received a heart transplant. John saw the extra years of life that it gave Bill. From then on, John made sure it was designated on his driver’s license that he was a door.
I am sure John is reaping the awards of Heaven and is at peace with the Lord.
