I could talk about Steve for hours. He was a wonderful husband, uncle, great uncle and friend. He especially loved his great nephew, Jacob, who is with Steve on the mower in this quilt block. Steve was a happy person and always had a personal joke with everyone he met. His generosity, compassion and loyalty were only a few of his admirable traits. The blue on the quilt is part of a blue shirt that he would always wear. He is wearing it in one of the pictures on the quilt block. If he was at home he had one of his blue shirts on. Not long before he passed away, Steve bought his dream car, a triple black 2005 Corvette convertible.
Steve will never die because he has left a mark on the heart of every person he has met. We love you Steve and hold your memories close to our hearts.
