Our quilt square symbolizes Mark’s favorites. The fabric is Dallas Cowboy’s, Mark’s favorite football team since 7-years-old. Fire Co. Patch: Mark was a fireman since 14 (junior member). The 2 hearts represent love we have and will always have for Mark and his love. Mark loved motorcycles and the night we met he had it and I still own. The cross represents Jesus with whom Mark is with in Heaven. Sunflower patch: Mark and Tristan used to plant. Me and Mark were married on April 29, 1989 and our only child, a son Tristan Dallas-Mark’s “buddy” was born on August 19, 1993. The “My Old Friend” phrase over Mark’s name is a song by Tim McGraw that we played in video tribute at Mark’s tribute and seems to express how we feel about Mark. Mark was a wonderful person and we miss and love him.
