Our daughter Amanda was the sunshine of our lives. When she was a little girl, we sang “Que, sera, sera,” to her at bedtime. Her favorite flower was a sunflower and she loved the outdoors. To her, nothing was more perfect than a warm day with blue skies. It was understandable that blue was her favorite color. Mandy loved painting and bargain shopping too. Being the oldest of three daughters, Mandy loved hanging out with her family. She was a free spirit, teaching us to live life. She was a member of the Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority at Shippensburg University. Their symbol is the anchor. Mandy cared for her sorority sisters very much. We wanted them to be represented on her quilt square. We miss Amanda deeply. We know she is our angel in heaven, looking over us.
