This memorial square is a tribute to the life Chad Strait lived. At the age of 43, Chad lost his heroic battle to glioblastoma ( Brain Cancer) on March 4, 2017.
Chad had many passions in life, but two of his favorites were farming and racing.
Chad’s first love was farming. Chad enjoyed farming on Glazier’s farm in McConnellsburg, PA. Experiencing the beauty of God’s goodness through plowing and harvesting each season gave Chad the opportunity to unwind. Even throughout his cancer treatments on days he was feeling less than his best, he would find the energy to hop on his John Deere and do what he loved.
