Chantel Elsesser

This quilt patch is of a 17-year-old girl. Her name is Chantel, and she was killed by a drunk driver. The picture is her high school graduation picture, but she never made it to graduation. The hearts represent how she always signed her name with a heart behind it, showing her love. The sunflower was her favorite flower. The rainbow and cardinal were true blessings to her loved ones after her passing that continually appeared.

Chantel loved to travel whether it be in the US, or a cruise to one of the islands. She had a true love for animals of all kinds. Some of her favorite places to go was to the zoo or an aquarium. Horseback riding was also a favorite thing for her to do. She would swim with the dolphins every chance she could get. She enjoyed the simple things in life, like cuddling up to a good movie or reading a good book. Of course her music was always a must.

Chantel had a very giving heart and often wanted to help the less fortunate or homeless. She wanted to be and RN were she could continue being the caring person she was. Her final act of giving was being an organ donor where she saved so many lives.

Chantel loved her family very much. She had a special bond with each one of them. She was often known to say her mom was her best friend. She loved beating her dad in Monopoly and other board games. She enjoyed hanging out with her siblings going shopping, out to eat, or traveling with them.

Chantel had a strong faith in the Lord and accepted him personally. We will see you soon Chantel <3.

Please be an organ donor and give the gift of life!
