Diane Deatore

Sunrise-Sunset

4-12-52 to 06-08-16

Our quilt piece is honoring our mother Diane Deatore. She was a fearless mother of six children, and an unmatchable grandmother to seven grandchildren. The seven red hearts represent each grandchild with whom she adored, loved, and poured into. The ladybug and butterfly are signs that we have found a glimpse of her in, since her passing.

She was loving, selfless, encouraging, and unwavering mother to James, David, Faith, Aimee, Laura and Kimberly Deatore.

She was the best grandmother, nurturer, babysitter, and lullaby singer to her seven grandchildren; Adrianna, Jaylen, James Jr/bubby, David Jr, Lydia, Viviana, and Elijah.

She is the loving sister/best friend to Ileen Fredrich and her brother George Fredrich.

She was an avid Elvis and Billy Ray Cyrus lover. There wasn’t a book she did not read. She loved the lord and loved sharing her faith and going back and forth about the bible with others. The ocean was her favorite place, she often joked about wanting to be washed away by the waves when it was her time so she could be one with the ocean.

She did anything for her children and grandchildren, and was a mother to many others over the years and opened her home to anyone in need. She was loved by everyone who knew her.

She was taken suddenly from a heart attack and is missed dearly each day. She has taught us all unmatchable lessons and true unconditional love that we all carry with us each day, and instill in our own lives and families, in her legacy. We miss you and love you mom!
