Dylan was one of our youngest of 3 handsome boys. He was a bright, adventurous son with many talents. At age 17, he began his own landscaping / snow removal business. He was a perfectionist and his clients loved him. He had a soft spot for animals and donated his services to the local ASPCA doing tree removal.
Loving the outdoors, he rode 4 wheelers, motorcycles and fast cars. The bike pictured was his bike that he left behind for his middle brother.
He loved FOX Racing clothing and Reese’s. He could eat a 10 pack of peanut butter cups himself in one sitting. I sleep with one hand on one of his FOX t-shirts under my pillow.
Though his favorite color was red, you would mainly see him in his orange or safety yellow work shirts. Every time I see orange, I think of him, which is why I chose the orange square.
He would surprise me at work by bringing me lunch, flowers, or my favorite drink. My heart would do flips when I’d see him. He had the biggest heart of gold and was so giving, which is why there are sparks of gold in the heart.
He accomplished so much in his short life, and was wise beyond his years. Being a high honor roll student and a National Spelling Bee Contestant. But what he didn’t let anybody know was how much pain he was harboring inside. I refer to it as Silent Tears, which I suffer from now as well. He had beautiful blue eyes, like the one on his square.
There are so many questions and missing answers. He is so loved and missed terribly by all, but I am proud he chose to keep on giving. He was an amazing son and it doesn’t surprise me that he chose to give the Gift of Life to others. I just hope he knew how much I loved him.
Forever, Momma
