Jim Harrington was a people person. As a result, he worked for many years in the car sales industry. His customers and coworkers loved him. He was affectionately known as “Car Guy”. He also loved being a volunteer fireman.
When he found the Love of his life, Jody, he could take more time to do the things that he enjoyed: cooking, yard work and pets. He loved to cook for others and frequently was found cooking outdoors for any celebration, often for his daughters. His yard and his garden were his pride and joy, especially the blueberry bushes. Jim had a special way with animals. He seemed to be able to talk to dogs and they would talk back to him!
Jim was a kind and gentle person. There was not a mean bone in his body. He was always laid back, even as a child! He was loved by everyone who knew him. He was an amazing husband, father, brother and friend and is missed by us all.
