Jim Perez was a wonderful husband of almost 50 years. An Incredible father of 2 daughters. A fantastic father-in-law and a Pop-Pop of 7 grandchildren. He showed us family always came first and he taught us to throw the best parties with family and friends. He loved to cook and entertain, which is why I guess he had the best parties, especially Christmas Eve and July 4th. He was a manager by trade and a manager of the house-everything in its place. He loved to fish with love and respect for the ocean. We live by the shore and taking in a breath of salty air reminds me of the memories we have shared by the sea. He taught my sister and I love for cooking good food. When he wasn’t fishing, cooking or entertaining; he loved watching tv eating a good pizza pie! He was very patriotic and had love for our country. He also served in the navy. I hope in these few words you can imagine what a great man my dad was and how he is so missed. My dad’s legacy continues to live on through our family. My father was a proud man of his family, friends and country. As he chose to be an organ donor on his driver’s license, I am sure he is just as proud he was able to give the gift of life to others in need. Thank you for allowing us to remember and honor Jim Perez today.
