John V. Knapp was born July 17, 1962. He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, husband, father, Pop-Pop, uncle, nephew, and good friend.
He loved the ocean, which is why we chose this blue background that came from one of his favorite shirts. He was happiest when he was on the water fishing from a boat. He lived his life generously, giving his all to those he loved. Halloween was his favorite time of year. He loved to dress up and hand out candy to the neighborhood kids. His trusty, little, white dog named Lily was always by his side.
On April 5, 2016, he left this world as he lived it, helping others and generously giving by donation to the Gift of Life Donor Program. Someone’s life was made better because of John, who was always thinking of others and putting them above himself.
