Kevin Shea

Kevin’s life journey began on June 24, 1958 and ended on November 19, 2017. He was an electrical engineer and worked for GE and Oracle to name just a few of his job endeavors. Kevin was my high school sweet heart and we met in Spanish class and started dating at 16 years old. He participated in football, track, cross country and joined the boy’s gymnastics’ team because I was on the girl’s team.

We were married on May 3, 1986. We were blessed with 3 beautiful children Daniel, Kirsten, and Brianna. Kevin was best known for his story telling and jokes; he made us laugh until we cried. His love of fishing and boats made our spring and summer fun. He would paint it each spring and all summer. One of the most memorable moments was a trip to the ocean and tubing all day. He worked on his cars and enjoyed rebuilding them.

Kevin loved his dogs. Laddy grew up with him and his family. He had 5 dogs over the years, Rusty, Magnum, Cheyenne, Koda and Jade. They were great companions and he enjoyed spending time with them and they gave him great company throughout life.

The first gift Kevin gave me was a snake. He gave it to me and told my mother to put it in her garden. I still tell that story to this day. We have missed Kevin’s story and jokes. He loved his family and adored his children. Although he is no longer with us he will always be in our hearts. We choose to remember the good times and we know he is taking care of Daniel. Thank you Kevin for being my friend first, my husband and the father to our children. We all miss you dearly and love you.
