Nicholas Michael Mort was the definition of a true gentleman. He was a man of integrity, honor, love and family. He gave himself to his country as a United States Marine, to the Special Olympics as a coach, judge, mentor, and coordinator, to his family and friends in whatever way they needed him. Yet, he was always true to who he was. He followed his path with his heart. He followed it while singing, dancing, creating, laughing, learning and loving. Nick had a deep sense of responsibility to those he loved. All who crossed his path were blessed by this deep, soulful, heartful beauty of a soul.
