We would like to honor our son by saying God allowed us to care and love him for 13 wonderful years. He was the youngest of four children. Patrick was our surprise child. My daughter, Christine who was the oldest at the time he was born, was 18 years old, and my boys Michael and Danny were 12 and 13 years old. We were so blessed when we found out that Patrick would be coming into our lives. This was a new beginning for us and a new adventure. Patrick was a beautiful son and he was always happy and full of energy. Patrick enjoyed playing ice hockey for many years and we went to many tournaments and met many people whom we’ve become lifetime friends with over the past few years. Patrick has also made good friends with his teammates; to name a few Thomas, Max, Connor, Brian and Erick. These friends have been a great blessing to us after Patrick’s passing away. Patrick also loved to play the guitar and wanted to play in a band someday with his best friends David and Ryan. Riley and Kyle were also his best friends since he was a baby. He will be missed by our family and his grandmothers, his aunts and uncles and cousins who miss him every day. A piece of our hearts died the day of the tragic accident. “His wings were ready but our hearts were not”. We know that Patrick is in heaven with our Lord and someday soon we will meet him again.
