Thomas M. McVoy

Thomas M. McVoy “Tommy” was my adopted dad. I always knew him as my dad because he came into my life when I was a little under a year old. He met my mom and fell in love and after her passing adopted me. He was an automotive mechanic at the same garage for over 40 years and worked on cars since he was 13, hence the wrench. He always went out of his way to make sure the people he knew or loved or came across never wanted and was always ready to fix any problem he was handed. One of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. He had one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever known so I put a heart on there with his name. He loved to ride motorcycles (which is why I chose orange, black, and red as the coloring), boating, and go camping at the campground with his friends. He was always pulling pranks on his coworkers, the fellow mechanics, to brighten up everyone’s day. He was also always so encouraging and informational on real world situations and a great role model to look up to. I was very lucky to have known him and him raise me. He was a shining light in my life during some dark times after my mother passed. I hope his gift of life and donations can help bring the light back into someone else’s life as well. Thank you for taking the time to read this informational of my father and his legacy.

Sincerely,

Joy Lyn Feliciano
