Timothy Allen Moll

This quilt square represents the life of Timothy Allen Moll, born August 28th, 1996. His life ended far too soon in a motorcycle accident at age 20. We know that his last moments were spent doing something he loved and that gives us some peace. This square is made from a piece of one of his favorite red flannel shirts and denim from a pair of work jeans. Together, the two make the most frequent outfit you would find Timothy wearing, working or enjoying the outdoors. The 4 characters represent his mother Heidi, father Tim, and older sister Abby. The duck reminds us of his love for hunting whether it be for deer, bear, turkey, or waterfowl. The middle patch is from the Shillington, PA fire company where Timothy acted as a volunteer fire fighter for 6+ years. The black diamond is a swatch from his long-term girlfriend Kaitlyn’s 2015 prom dress. The wrenches exemplify his work ethic, which was incredible at a very young age in his older years, Timothy worked as a HVAC technician. The water-skier brings back memories spent on the family boat. Water skiing, four wheeling, fishing, and motorcycling are only a few of the many outdoor hobbies Timothy enjoyed with his friends and family. Because of his passion for the outdoors and his work ethic, Timothy valued his body more than most. He was constantly on the move and working with his hands, often to help others. The Miller-Keystone Blood Center pin marks the one gallon of whole blood that Timothy donated throughout his short life. He donated blood and platelets as often as possible. Timothy would be proud to know that his body is continuing to be valued by so many recipients through the Gift of Life Program.
