ROXBOROUGH — Gift of Life Donor Program — the organ procurement organization for the eastern half of Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware — and the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) Southeast Connect honored Roxborough Memorial Hospital with a 2018 Gift of Life Titanium Award Nov. 15.
Pennsylvania’s challenge led the nation in hospital participation and was recognized by the federal Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Workplace Partnership for Life Hospital Organ Donation Campaign.
The challenge was held during April 2018 to coincide with National Donate Life Month. Hospital activities were captured on a scorecard and assigned titanium-, platinum-, gold-, silver- and bronze-level recognition.
