Ricky was a beloved son, “little” brother and loving fiancé. And I put little quotes because he was 6’3 and his older brother was 5’10. We always had a good laugh about that. Ricky loved to laugh and had an enormous smile. For our quilt square we used a pair of Ricky’s shorts, he wore them all the time. He loved clothes; everything had to match including his underwear and socks. He had tons of sneakers too, that’s why we added sneakers to our quilt square. The little bees are because that was our nickname for him. We always called him our Lil “B” even though he was bigger than everyone in our family. The hearts are because we love him so much and we know will be reunited as a family in heaven one day. Ricky loved life and lived it to the fullest. Throughout his teenage years he and his brother raced motocross. He loved motorcycles all his life. He also had an old pickup truck that was very special to him and his dream was restore it someday.
We were so blessed to have Ricky in our lives and hearts for 23 years. We are happy and proud he became a donor so that he could help other families. Ricky, we loved you your whole life and we will miss you the rest of ours.
