The ‘Gift of Life’ Through Organ Donation

12-year-old Taylor is a member of Team Philadelphia's Youth Basketball team who won the silver medal at this year's Transplant Games of America. On Nov. 30, the team was honored at the Philadelphia 76ers game.

When it comes to organ transplants, one person can save the lives of up to eight people. That’s why Howard Nathan, who leads the Gift of Life program, thinks it’s so important to foster donations. NBC10 talks with Nathan and with Taylor Dyer, a 12-year-old organ recipient and athlete, about the program.
